Travelling to/from Orlando for everything LGBT/social is tiring and somewhat inconvenient, not to mention if one wants to imbibe and have to worry about driving far. Our group will have events ranging from backyard BBQs to sit-down dinners at member homes or restaurants, recreational events like bowling or hiking as well as day-trips to other Florida cities.

A few of us have gotten together to re-form The Libertarian Party of Polk County Florida. We are well organized and have met all the requirements to be an official affiliate of The Libertarian Party of Florida. We are ready to grow, please join us. Now we  have a website  http://lppolkcounty.org/!

Gathering a group of mature (in attitude, not necessarily age) LGBTs to meet at least monthly for dinner, go to a movie, have an outdoor activity, or short mini-vacations. Would love to incorporate a regular group potluck so we can have the opportunity to share our cooking with people other than ourselves.
